FOA VM team only - 200mbps - getting less than half

rightclickfix
Up to speed

I've been with VM since telewest and know how it all works which is why... I'm a pro technician and would like my service uncapped with immediate effect! (I'd ring but this is quicker). We're receiving 94mbps on a 200mbps connection and have really been very patient in case of outages, upgrades to hubs etc. but 2 evening gamers here are struggling very badly and its not on. Can you uncap my connection asap please? Message me for any relevant info required.

It's a community forum, so anyone can reply.

Contact VM directly if you don't want none VM persons replying.

Better check that your ethernet connection hasn't fallen back to 100Mbps. VM staff can't do that for you.

Hi @rightclickfix,

Thank you for your post and welcome back to our community forums. We're here to help.

I am really sorry to hear that you seem to be facing some problems with your connection speeds recently. However, as @newapollo has also advised, we do not cap/traffic manage broadband speeds. If you're experiencing a drop in speeds then this will be due to something else.

Can you check and confirm what speeds you're currently getting whilst on a wired connection by running a speed test?

Thanks,

Dropping to 94mb is a common problem, and an easy fix for a pro technician.

I can't tell you what it is as you don't want us to reply.
