Extremely low Upload/Download speeds

Since Sunday 20th of July my internet has been experiencing extremely low speeds mainly for upload however sometimes download was affected too and it always happens after 7pm until 8-10am? the next day i believe i haven't really had a chance to check but i'm sure that it still doesn't work at 6am. It's extremely frustrating because i cannot do anything after that time since it's literally impossible to even load a website sometimes.

I have experienced Upload speeds of 0.02mbs and sometimes it doesn't even load the upload speed.

Not sure if this helps but i've been told that it's the router thats the problem so i got sent a new one and there was no difference, I also had an engineer come over recently to check things and make sure everything is fine but that also hasn't helped.

Re: Extremely low Upload/Download speeds

Wired and/or wireless devices?

Could you access your router using http://192.168.0.1/ . Don't log in, select the 'Check Router Status' option and paste your 'Downstream', 'Upstream', and 'Network Log' tabs?

We can check the stats to see if there is an issue with your line.

The values in bold should all be 64 qam. Three of them are not, and the power levels are in the upper end of maximum (5.1 = 51 as there is a bug in the HUB 3 software). Yours are 47 - 48 so quite high. Mine for a comparison:

4537000263.75512064 qam2

You'll need an engineer visit to investigate further, unless a VM staff member can confirm something can be adjusted remotely.

Re: Extremely low Upload/Download speeds

Do you think that could be the issue why it always becomes extremely slow after 7pm? yesterday I think around 10pm it worked fine for around 10 minutes and then it went horrible again after.

Re: Extremely low Upload/Download speeds

The line quality could be intermittent.

Have you rebooted the HUB recently (Turn it off wait a minute then turn it back on)?

If not I'd suggest it then check if the stats have changed.

Out of spec upstream levels have have a negative affect on downstream i.e. download.

Re: Extremely low Upload/Download speeds

Yeah I have multiple times since it started happening. It hasn't really helped.

You need some assistance from VM then.

Re: Extremely low Upload/Download speeds

Should I mention the upstream bonded channels when I call them next time to make sure they check it?
