Good evening.. I'm having issues with my virgin broadband speeds. This week we have had a couple of days of no broadband due to an issue in the area, so not sure if this is related.
We should be getting 100mps however I have ran multiple tests over last few hours and the lowest I have had has been 1.5mps and the largest is 40mps. Weirdly if I get a higher reading it gradually creeps up during the test.
I have ran the tests and fault finder on the app and it's all came back ok??
I have reset my router and tested the connection using a VPN and the speed stays the same.
I live in area 07 according to my bill. Not sure if that can help someone check a fault.
Could you access your router using http://192.168.0.1/ or http://192.168.100.1 for modem mode . You shouldn't need log in, select the 'Check Router Status' option and paste your 'Downstream', 'Upstream', and 'Network Log' tabs?
