Evening congestion back?

Anyone in the West London area experience any outages last night?

The evening congestion problem for me has recently been resolved and it's been clear for a while now. However, yesterday evening it came back with a vengeance.Virgin1.png

Just to close this out, Virgin are unable to resolve my intermittent problems. After numerous visits and discussions with tech support, I've now been offered early termination rather than to localise and fix root cause. Extremely disappointing. I imagine that once there are other 1Gbps providers, Virgin will bleed customers (and staff I would imagine).

How it's not possible to identify such an issue is beyond me:

If its overutilisation - then VM simply have too many customers using the equipment they have in place to serve them. Either need to lose customers and/or upgrade their equipment to handle greater numbers - long and costly

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 1 WiFi, 1 on PA) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On 250Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

I get that and understand that sometimes that's the case but with the pattern in terms of high latency and packets dropping, it doesn't look like it. The frequency has actually reduced now but when it happens, there's a clear pattern (hourly).

AIUI.. those "hourly" latency spikes are a result of the VM Hub running regular Samknows speed tests.
