Erratic broadband speeds WiFi/lan

Hi all,

hopefully you helpful lot can point me in the right direction. I’m in area 26 and only just joined VM in the last month. I’m currently having erratic speeds on my broadband at the minute. I take it with all the other questions on here About low speeds it’s a problem throughout VM? I’m having speed issues with wired and WiFi Connections. When I carried out a diagnostics check through the Router it came up with a Wi-Fi problem. How do I know what the Wi-Fi problem is? Is there somewhere that explains the fault? How do I get all the info needed so the experts can look through it and maybe point me in the right direction. Many thanks

Re: Erratic broadband speeds WiFi/lan

Testing by a console is the worst way to speed test.

You need to use a gigabit-enabled laptop/PC

Re: Erratic broadband speeds WiFi/lan

Hi and good morning,

connecting my pc directly to the hub 3 -

110 down 9 up

using the same speed test app on my phone connected to VM Glasgow server

10 down 8 up.

Does that point to a WiFi issue?
