Dropping and Unusable Broadband please help!

Service since Christmas has been extremely spotty but useable but for the last 3 days its far worse 

Symptoms include

+ Wifi ceasing to work entitely

+ Hard wired broad band dropping entirely 

+ Speed fluctuating between the expected 350 (rare) down to almost nothing 

+ Huge packet loss - often over 10% 

 

Service in my area reports 'no problems'

Things I've tried to fix it:

Checking all cabling and contacts, manually selecting channels based on mac scan, endless router reboots, router factory resets,

Any remedys work for only a short space of time. This afternoon the entire service was out for 2+ hours  

Any ideas for next steps very welcome?
