Download speed gone DOWN since upgrading?

I always had a speed of at least 100mb on my 100mb package. No issues

On Tuesday 8th Sept I upgraded my package to 200mb, and since then my download speed struggles to get above 60mb ?

My upload speed HAS increased though

I found it a LOT easier to get in touch with someone when I wanted to upgrade and spend more money.... can anyone help me please

  • I have reset my hub
  • I have followed all the online help
  • I have switched it off and on
  • Speed test done from a cabled pc

Log in to your Hub and select connected devices to see what speed you are connected to the Hub is it 100Mbps or 1000Mbps?

Where do I log in to my hub? Is that on the app? Or can I check that on my PC?

If you're in router mode it's http://192.168.0.1/  if in modem mode it's http://192.168.100.1/  if it's your first time you will have to log in and set your password

if it's your first time you'll get your first password on the bottom of the Hub.

Struggling lol
Anyhow, Desktop is showing connected at 100Mbps ?

Others are one there..
iphone for examp,e is showing at 634.76?

It means that for some reason you are only connected at 100Mbps, check your NIC (Network Interface Card) in Device management to see that your card is Gigabit compliant and is set to Auto negotiate

What platform are you using?  if it is Windows 10 then it's Window key plus x to get the menu, then select device management
