Hi all, new to the forum, appreciate your help.
I've just upgraded to 1Gb from 500mb via the Volt offer. According to the emails service should go live today.
I've seen nothing about a new hub, my current one is a hub 3 which is nice and stable,
I use it in modem mode as I have Asus WiFi Mesh throughout the house.

As you have a Hub3 this does not support a 1G connection, so you will get a replacement hub.

Just to not need a upgrade from a hub 4 in some years and that you be ready to get a better router when more speed happens.

As mentioned by @Tudor, you would have been offered a new hub to receive these speeds. I can however see you have been in contact with our team who offered a resolution. Is there anything else we can help with today?

Thank you! Yes. Some issues with the original order but all sorted and hub upgrade incoming.
