Connection intermittently dropping / SuperHub rebooting? Area reference 31

Since last Friday I've been noticing intermittent drop outs of my VM Cable.

Seems like the SuperHub is rebooting (can an issue on the cable service cause this or is it more likely the hardware is failing)?

The network log shows the connection coming back up each time

 

Looking at the SuperHub when the connection dropped tonight (Could not access the admin page when the connection was down btw) I got:

Solid Blue power light on (nothing else)

Then all the front lights come on and flash on and off

Then power light (Blue) and the up/down arrow (flashing Green)

Then back to Power, tick on and up/down arrow flashing (all in Blue)

( I have the WiFi disabled so no 2.4 & 5 Ghz lights on )

Internet connection back up and working.

 

Looking for some help.  Is the forum the best way to contact VM for support?

Please could you enable the 2.4ghz and 5ghz again so that we can run some additional checks.

Hi Zak,

Thanks for your reply, I've enabled both the WiFi radios (if you could let me know when your done so I can turn them back off, my AP is sat next to the Virgin Hub so it's probably not best pleased with such a close source of WiFi...).

Btw Looking at the network log screen I can see the WAN has been going up and down like a yoyo

When the new hub arrives you'll need to active it. You can do so by calling on 03454541111 option 3 and then option 2. 

 

Let us know if you have any issues with the set up.
