Please forgive my total technical ignorance of all this.
Following the latest ‘upgrade’ I carried out the speed test, results:
Speed to virgin3 hub: 276 mbps
Speed to I pad: 14.6 mbps
I haven’t noticed any difference since it was supposed to be 50 mbps.
What is the point of claiming 276 when I only get 14 to my devices? And how, if possible, can I improve it?

Carl, it’s 6th generation.
Looking at the specs it appears it should be capable of faster speeds, however it depends on distance from the HUB, etc.

You should be able to access your HUB on 192.168.0.1, login and navigate to the 'Connected Devices' section.
You should see the connection speed (Not a real world speed, but a rough guide is two thirds - three quarters of the connection speed is the expected real world speed) and the band the iPad is using to connect. If it's 2.4Ghz this could explain the reason for the slowness (Should be 5Ghz for faster speeds).

WiFi speeds can't be guaranteed. You are paying for the broadband speed to the Hub.

Fair enough but any advice on how I improve it?

You could start by looking through the WiFi help videos h

Thanks John.

So I reckon I have a problem at 14, don’t you?
