Certain YouTube videos lagging at 4k 60fps on M250

This video bellow seems to be throttled to 30mbps bandwidth on the 250 meg connection so it lags in parts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gb53nUHV48I&t=161s

Where this video bellow seems to be fine at the same resolution .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cA-ZAbHQS44

Hi James908, we do not throttle at Virgin Media, i have looked into the connection and everything looks green.

Can you confirm if you are still having issues with this and what times of the day does this usually happen?

I cannot see any disconnections since the reboot, can you still confirm that this is the case?

It's like it all day, on certain videos, certain 4k 60fps videos are throttled.

This below shows what I'm talking about, you are throttling certain 4k videos like this one. The speed test around the same time as this.Untitled.jpg

Hey James908, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry you are having some connection issues.

I have taken a look at our side and I can't see any issues at all, your levels are really great.

This is a high quality video with a large amount of frames these take some power to watch.

This could come down to someone that this video take a little longer to load before watching due to how big it is, also if someone else is watching Netflix for example and you are trying to play this video you would struggle on this speed bracket.

I would personally watch this in 4K 25 frames per second of in HD at 1080. Thanks

New around here?

It some think to with your content delivery network. These two videos where played same resolution at the same time.same time 2.jpgSame time 1.jpg

I watched the video in 2160p60 and saw a bit of stuttering but it wasn't repeatable. This stuttering occurred when the buffer health fell to 0 (or almost 0). I rarely suffer from this problem as my V6 has a wired connection to the hub.

Hi James908, thanks for the message and welcome back to the forums.

I have looked into the area and can see that there are no issues in the area.

How is the service since posting?

Kind regards, Chris.
