Broadband throttle

Hi all,

just wondering if anyone has issues with virgin throttling their speed. It seems to happen to me every month around the same time. I have virgin 350mbps and for 2 solid weeks I get those speeds with a speedtest, when it gets to a certain date which was today it seems to get reduced to about 180-200. It will be like this now until my bill is generated in 2 weeks time then it will be back to 350.

No idea.

Create a BQM and post the live link.

Could you access your router using http://192.168.0.1/ or http://192.168.100.1 for modem mode. Log in, select the 'Advanced settings / Tools / Network status' option and paste your 'Downstream', 'Upstream', and 'Network Log' tabs? Please copy/paste this data as text, split between multiple posts (Sometimes you have to click 'Post' twice due to an error message).

Re: Broadband throttle

Why do you want me to send the up down logs? I was simply asking a question because I know that’s what is happening. It is the same dates every month when my bill gets generated in 2 weeks  time it will go back to full speed. This is the third month It has happened?

To check if the HUB stats and your line quality are ok.

If you don't want us to check then wait 5 - 10 days for a VM staff member to reply.

Re: Broadband throttle

Ok I will go on my router stats I know how to get it up but how do I post the results on here? Three months ago I had a new line put in from the main pit and a new router.
