Broadband speed

I cannot get to speak with anyone from customer services, just keep getting the turn your router on and off spin.

I'm a 500mb customer yet get no more than 60mb either wired or WiFi.

I believe my hub is broken as all service status and online help checks say there's nothing wrong.

My hub has been restarted more than my 10 year old car!

How on earth can I either get a technician out, or get a new hub sent out.

Are you using a Cat 5e or better cable from the router to the PC?

What speed do you get on https://speedtest.samknows.com/ with direct wired connection from PC/Laptop to router using a Cat 5e cable or better with a 1Gbps Ethernet capable network card?

Yes, its a cat 6 cable for a connections. The router is currently in modem mode running a tp link mesh.

The download speeds of 60mbs is the same in router or modem mode. Upload is 37mbs.

As I said reset many times by the reset pin hole, so default settings for router, only changes is to set in modem mode. As I said tho, same download speeds in either mode. These speeds are from Ookoa speed test for both wired and wireless devices

Could you access your router using http://192.168.0.1/ or http://192.168.100.1 for modem mode. Log in, select the 'Advanced settings / Tools / Network status' option and paste your 'Downstream', 'Upstream', and 'Network Log' tabs? Please copy/paste this data as text, split between multiple posts (Sometimes you have to click 'Post' twice due to an error message).

Create a BQM and post the live link.

Those tests done in modem mode. Speedtest (online) results consistently tell me 37up and between 50-75 down. All cables cat6. Tests done directly from modem, hard wired to deco mesh, through power line adapters and over mesh WiFi. Always the same results full speed up 10% of what I'm supposed to get down 🤷

You need to create the BQM as asked.

Please setup a Broadband Quality Monitor (BQM) at thinkbroadband.com. Just click on Create a new monitor.

Post a 'Live Link' to your BQM on here asap.

Under your graph you just created Click (Share Live Graph) then click generate.

Copy the text in the Direct Link box and paste it on here
