Broadband slow

Hi there on virgin M500 and getting speeds of 70 Meg on a speed test. Rebooted hub 3. Split Wi-Fi into 2.4 and 5Ghz and 5 GHz is giving me this. House is small and wifi reaches every room. New install only had Virgin in for 2 days so not impressed so far.

What speed do you get on a wired device?

Re: Broadband slow

Ok 350 hard wired. Looks like the hub 3 Wi-Fi isn’t up to scratch. Have a couple of small bus. Cisco AP’s Wap 371’s will have to dust them off

Re: Broadband slow

Although can’t find the power cables so will have to dust off the POE switch 🤔

Keep in mind by default the HUB uses 'Smart' WiFi and uses one SSID for both 2.4 and 5Ghz bands.

Certainly worth disabling and splitting the SSID into two to see if that helps?

EDIT: oh you did...

Worth checking the 'Connected Devices' section in your HUB to see what speed your devices are connecting to the HUB.
