Broadband issues in CM21 area

For more than 7 days, virgin media broadband has been intermittent in my area. Cannot stream videos online and WhatsApp not working properly. No proper update on this issue from Virgin media. I need to know when the broadband issue is due to be fixed. I will need to attend an online job interview next week and this broadband issue is not helping.

Check with Area faults on 0800 561 0061 If you have a VM landline 150 this goes down to post code level. You could also try the web page status, but this is not recommended as it only covers issues that affect a very large number of customers.

The broadband issue in CM21 area has been fixed last Tuesday 05/12/2023. Thanks WM team for your support on this. I hope to be compensated for the days the network was not working properly!

Thanks for coming back to us and updating us. We're really glad that things have been resolved for you now. 

We do have an automatic compensation scheme in place. When there is a total loss of service for your broadband or phone line, the account is automatically assessed for compensation, once the fault is closed as resolved. If eligible, the credit is added and will show on the next bill due to be generated.
