Broadband is seriously getting beyond a joke.

Hi, 

I would seriously like for a member of the team to get in touch.. im having so many issues with my broadband i am on the verge of getting rid and going to another isp. I know i would not get thr same speed, but im pretty sure i would have M internet connection!! 

So i am having alot of packet loss on my connection. 

I have done a bqm and it shows slight losses but constant!

And then i have looked at check status but not sure what i am looking at on that bit..

So considering i'm meant to have 200mps  i just done a speed test and im lucky to get 4! 

Yes i have restarted the router, and all that malarky they ask you to do on the phone.

Which VM Hub do you have ?

Can you please

Type 192.168.0.1 (192.168.100.1 in Modem mode) into your browser URL bar and press enter. 

Hub 2 & 3 When the page appears DO NOT LOG IN but click ‘Check Router Status’.

Hub 4 When the page appears LOG IN then click ‘Check Router Status’.

Copy and paste the contents of the Downstream, Upstream and Network Log tabs onto here, if you get a yellow warning click the Post button again. Use one post for each tab if you wish. Please do not use screen grabs.

A Guru will be along soon to decipher the info.

Can anyone look into this?

Corey did bkok me an engineer  but i work and cant have anyone until after 5pm. 

So if you do want to book me an engineer, it will need to be a late appointment or a weekend

Those figures above don't look at all bad.

Just to be clear as it's not mentioned above, was your speed measured with an ethernet connection or over WiFi?  If it was WiFi, can you do a wired test please?

Xbox is wired via a virgin media booster. 

I got those results via my phone from the 192.168.. as mike had provided the info.

A speed test doesnt generally show my issues, yes it might fluctuate between 30 to 70 mb 

I am supposted to be around the 200 mark.

 

But my gaming is horrendous, packet loss, 1000 ping

I am just getting so frustrated with the connection all the time, i have to turn wifi off sometimes just for my phone to connect to whatsapp or the internet.
