Re: Broadband fault reporting

Like every other service in the country at the moment, VM's service is very restricted.

Even if you need an ambulance you'll have to wait. Broadband is not life-or-death and there's always 4G.

Re: Broadband fault reporting

Trying to work from home, other broad band suppliers are meeting the demand!

just tried now at 2.30 am and I’ve full 50 meg and 5 upload ... so no fault.

No local friends with other suppliers have an issue during the day,

Most companies have measure’s in place, when I’ve had to go out one seen virgin vans around so no argument there... billing next I guess as I’m paying for a service that can’t be used!

Re: Broadband fault reporting

It’s 100% a supply issue with virgin, this morning it’s at full speed by 10 am it’s unusable.... no issues with my router connections etc

last night virtually no reading on the speed tester, area 20 is all that is needed I think to look at the area problems and not giving  my account unless you are approved thanks for your reply

Re: Broadband fault reporting

Area 20 does not define your location.

If you're turning away genuine offers of help there are plenty of other people who need it.

Good luck.

Re: Broadband fault reporting

Hi,

When you say you're in area 20, would you be in the Bromley area by any chance?

THere are lots of us reporting daytime issues at the moment in this area.

This is my BQM Chart... basically latency trhough the roof during the day, dropped packets and once we get to the afternoon.

BQM Chart

From what I understand, there are now two fault codes that have been reported in my area, F006805698 which has a fix date of 10th June and F007910332 which was apparently opened last week and has a fix date of 6th April.

Not sure if either of these are applicable to you and where you are exactly.

Basically Virgin need to step up and fix these issues as they seem to have added subscribers to areas which are already highly subscribed and as soon as usage goes above certain levels the ssystem crumbles.

Likey you say, other areas and other providers dont seem to have these issues.

Re: Broadband fault reporting

Hi thanks for your reply, no I’m south coast Goring by sea.

as my issue is time of the day dependent then it points to virgin being the issue... web site in knots and understandable getting through to customer services impossible... bet if I clicked to upgrade I’d get a reply 😞 not impressed

 good luck with your issue

Re: Broadband fault reporting

Area 20 is part of your customer ID, that's why they ask. I could explain what it means but can't be bothered. You could be almost anywhere in the country.
