Hi All, been with VM for a very long time, so I know when connection seems off.
Im on the 100mb package and usually get around 110 download speeds, it can vary slightly, and sometimes crawl along at 3mbs, but a re boot of the router or trying again the following day, its always back to normal.
Well for the last couple of weeks my speed seems to be set a just under half what it should be.
I have tried several devices over WIFI, and my main PC which is hard wired over a cat6 cable are all showing around 46.5 download speed.
I have re booted the router several times but the speed is consistent at about 46.5 no mater what I try.
Ive not phoned the helpline yet, and thought id ask here first to see if anyone had any ideas as to what I might try before I do ?
Can you post your Hub status and logs? Someone should be spot if there is a problem Navigate to http://192.168.0.1 (or http://192.168.100.1 - if in modem mode) Don't log in! Click on 'router status' Copy/paste the data from each of the tabs. The forum software will remove the MAC addresses for you (you may need to click the 'post' button again).
Also, set up a 'Broadband Quality Monitor'. This will monitor the state of your connection and record any network dropouts etc - You can do this at ThinkBroadband (https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/quality) Give it a while to gather data and then click 'Share Live graph' and paste the 'Direct Link' into the forum!
