Broadband Slow Speed

I signed up for M100 which showed speeds of 104mbs upon initial installation.
Averaging around 40mbs every day since in modem mode using wired connection.
Carried out numerous hub resets, disconnected all equipment except laptop carrying out speed check but not getting anywhere near the guaranteed minimum speeds.
Called VM today and requested cancellation, they are looking at upgrading my package to 200 or 350 (with discount) but I'm not sure whether I should bother, based on other posts in this community.

Any help, guidance or advice appreciated.

Your right to ask, no don't accept an upgrade, this will not improve the service one bit.

The issues your facing are most likely congestion related, I recommend another provider.

You spending extra money for upgrade is not the way.

You should argue for a free upgrade to M200 so you may endup with 100Mbs.. what you are paying for. 

Just curious how much extra did they want to upgrade to M200 & M350.. its normally £6 extra for each jump for most people.

They haven't confirmed the discount amount due to a system problem but were due to call me back this week to make the offer.
However, Ive called today and just cancelled as I've no confidence in the service.
