Broadband 350 much much slower

I have recently upgraded to M350 but getting more likev30-45 typically even with wired from hub. Really disappointing. Occasionally I get around 90-100 but majority of time in the 30-40 range? Any ideas? The Virgin customer service appears designed to be uncontactable! 😁

Could you access your router using http://192.168.0.1/ or http://192.168.100.1 for modem mode . Don't log in, select the 'Check Router Status' option and paste your 'Downstream', 'Upstream', and 'Network Log' tabs?

Can you carry out a couple of speed tests at speedtest.net using a direct connection using a Cat 5E/6 cable between the Hub and a 1Gbs capable Pc/Mac/Chromebook and no other devices connected.

Ensure that the Network Interface Card (NIC) drivers are up to date.

What equipment are you using to connect to your Hub?  Mac, PC, Laptop

If you log in to your Hub and click on devices connected, you can see the speeds of your devices to the Hub

eg

If it shows 100 (Mbps) it means your equipment won't go any faster than 100Mbps

Check that you have a Gigabit 10/100/1000 NIC (Network Interface card) set to Auto Negotiate installed in your equipment

Is the light on the back of the Hub where your equipment is connected, showing yellow or green and flickering?

Ok, log in then, using the password (Not the SSID key) on the base of the HUB.

It will prompt you to select a language, then ask you to change the password. Once you've done this logout and you should see the option underneath the login page.

It’s only my virgin router that is 100 Mps on the list?  Everything else is 1000 mps? Gies that mean the Virgin 3.0 router is not good enough?
