Broad band Speed

Is there any reason why the Gigabit broadband, which I am paying for, only worked for about 48 hours at that speed and has since reduced to less than the Superfast 200 odd speed I previously had?

I am almost constantly monitoring this, and had nothing like Gigabit speed. Yesterday, even after the Virgin checks, and every conceivable internal check, the max was 65mbps to 150mbps.

How do we get this sorted please?
It is a very unsatisfactory experience, to put it mildly.

I have a hardwire from the router to my PC (as well as other devices on WIFi) it is 3 feet away.
It is at any time of the day.
It is on any website, any browser. 
Very fast and capable Dell PC
Win 10 64bit

Hi, Did you get anywhere with this?

I am starting to get to the point of contacting the Ombudsman.

I have Gigabit, upgraded two weeks ago. All the latest gear.

Everything checked, internally, I know I do not have any issues indoors.

I got 1000+ speed for about 24 hours, then it died. 

I was getting 400, then 250, then 100, now lucky if 50 or 25!

I had superfast before with Virgin and always 200plus.

Been a customer for a LONG LONG time, and no one is listening to me.
