Booster- which one ?

Please help . 

I have been with Virgin media for 20 years plus . 

My garage conversion has poor signal even wired. 

I need booster , which one ?

Boosters are poor value at £3/month as well as being a "poor" solution for wifi issues. Instead invest those monies into getting your own better quality wireless equipment.

However, before getting to that - you say it gets poor signal on ethernet connections? If so then no wifi "boosting" solution will help.

So what type of ethernet cable is running to the garage - have you tried changing it? What devices are you connecting to it in there and what speeds do you expect/get?

You arent using powerline adapters by any chance are you?
