Blackpool - Speed all over the place for weeks/months

I have 200mb package and download/upload speed has been all over the place for weeks.

Service status page says my equipment is fine and there are no issues in the area.

Speeds are usually anywhere between 10mb to 70mb, 50mb right now. I have seen speeds topping 200mb but it's getting to be a rare occurence. It doesn't matter what time of day or night.

I have a Superhub 2 in modem mode and connect via ethernet on my main desktop pc.

Pretty sure it's not my equipment.

Have you removed your router and tried connecting direct to the hub?

I hadn't done, but I have done that now and exact same problem.

Hi 0utrage,

 

Thanks for your post. Sorry to hear that you are having connection issues. I've run a remote diagnostic on the connection ans was not able to identify any issues in the area or with the connection. If a direct line connection into the hub is still delivering slow speeds. Can you confirm if you are connecting through a proxy or a VPN? If not are you able to reboot the hub and then try another speed test with the direct line connection?
