Area 31 Cambridge Northampton poor performance

My on-going saga with trying to get anywhere near a decent service out of Virgin Media continues.  For weeks now the bandwidth and latency have been dire, the only reasonable time you can use the Internet is in the early hours.  Downloads speeds dip to around 2Mbps at times and upload is 100Kbps at best, time sensitive apps like streaming, video conferencing and gaming are particularly affected, yet Virgin Media say everything is fine or seemingly think that just rebooting the cable modem will fix everything, it doesn't.  I’m so close to finding a new more competent provider at the minute.

Anyone else in Area 31 Cambridge or Northampton area experiencing problems, just drop a comment on this thread.  If it is more than just me experiencing a problem, then maybe they will do something about it.

Same here look for my comments on my own post and other threads . 

it’s due to a recent reseg in the area . In Northampton there is a cable fault that is not going to be fixed until 29th may. But this date may  slip due to covid .

I starting to think it is more to do with the way the SH3 handles things, however, it could be a combination of things. The bottom line is VM have an issue that they don't want to own up to and I'll starting to lose faith in them.

Urgh , still not fixed in Northampton ...6 months later . Bit of a joke really .
