I have received a text today saying that the issue in the local area 20 has been fixed and yet speeds and jitter are garbage. Engineer came today and confirmed that the fix date has been pushed back to 1st Dec. and that there’s nothing wrong with my set up.
anyone else experiencing poor broadband in Area 20?
The VM area code is a billing code rather than a geographical area, so not relevant for tracking local area issues. It relates to the cable company that originally operated the franchise in your area. I believe code 20 is for Nynex who had franchises in Hampshire, Manchester, West Sussex, Surrey and Northern Ireland.
My setup: VM TV box, M350 Fibre broadband with Hub 3 in modem mode connected to a Netgear R7000 router. Telewest/VM user since 2001.
