You aren't comparing like with like. Was the old VIP package inclusive of 500Mb?   The V.VIP package includes 500Mb, unlimited SIM, full house TV and V6 box x 2 all for £139, after the first year.

Since I posted about an expected loyalty discount I have been given  the whole package for £99, just because I spoke to the right person. I reckon most of the different views we are hearing from folk is because VM's left hand doesn't know what the ight hand is doing.

There is no loyalty mate - I was offered that price too and I had been paying less than £30 a month for 350 for a year

This is absolutely nuts, don’t need TV but would gladly pay for the 500Mbps service.  Come on virginmedia.

Some existing customers have reported getting the 500Mbps quad play deal for £99 for 12 months. If you don't care about TV, who's forcing you to activate the V6?

Re: 500mbps disappointed.

Or as I put in the other thread just now - you can get it on Business for £62 a month for 2 year contract

https://www.virginmediabusiness.co.uk/connectivity/internet-access/business-broadband/voom-500/

But that's £74 a month with VAT - now all of a sudden the £99 VVIP looks goods value no?

Re: 500mbps disappointed.

So long as you expect customer service from VMB to be the same as residential, then you won't be disappointed.

Can it be any worse? If I ever need to call them I will find out, but I doubt it somehow!

Then I retract my previous statement! I have a UK account manager I know that - he's got a cockney sparrah accent
