Does Hyperoptic cover all the areas that VM does?

Re: 500mbps disappointed.

Their attitude is, accurately, that you can't get 350Mb anywhere else, let alone 500Mb. No need to change their policies.

If unhappy and just wanting broadband check VM Business.

It could be worse. At least you guys on residential can get 35Mb up without being on 500.

Re: 500mbps disappointed.

I have to agree, I actually downgraded my TV deal some months ago as I didn't want Sport or the HD channels and saved £20 a month. So to have to take out these services again + another TV box and a sim for 12months just so I can have 500mb broadband is crazy. People surely want faster broadband speeds, we are so far behind other countries that it's a little embarrassing. I've been very happy with the BB service from VM for a long time but this deal does not hit the right notes for the die-hard BB users.

Re: 500mbps disappointed.

It's a competitive market with VM, BT and Sky being quad play providers, and VM is using its 500Mbps to gather more quad play subscribers.

Re: 500mbps disappointed.

All a bit of an anti-climax for those expecting more than what is on offer

Re: 500mbps disappointed.

VM will offer the 500 in due course I would imagine; they're just trying to scam the gullible into signing up for the quadplay package.

The impatient will fall for it, the rest of us realise that there will be no discernable improvement between 350 and 500. It's just a number, which is precisely how VM considers us as customers.

Re: 500mbps disappointed.

Utterly pointless package for most people, I don't use the TiVo box I have now, why would I want another one?

I don't want Sport and Movie channels, I couldn't care less about the other TV options.

I have Netflix and Amazon, which I 'Stream'.....

Re: 500mbps disappointed.

They channels are not removed from your bundle unless you re-tier, if you were on Full House then this upgrade happened, if you don't change bundles you will retain those channels.
