4 months of ping spikes, NOT solved...

Hello,

This is the 3rd time i am posting here,

I've been having ping spikes for 4 months now and it is still not solved, this is unacceptable honestly, my computer is the ONLY thing connected, and in wired connection to the router. And the ping is behaving crazy, goes from 40 to 140 with maybe 10 spikes a minute. It has become inpossible to play ANYTHING online with this ping and this is really starting to annoy me... knowing i posted many times here and had the visit of 2 engineers.

Please can someone help me ?

Here is the router stats :

Upping the topic ! Also i realized the ping is perfect late at night ( Around midnight ). It was a perfectly stable 25ms compared to chaos during the day...

Bumping or “upping” your post is against forum rules and puts your request towards the bottom of the pile.

Re: 4 months of ping spikes, NOT solved...

Virgin is a terrible ISP for gamers, even some engineers have said it themselves.

I had an additional bt service installed recently. 36mb as it's 800m line.

Gaming is fine at all hours.

BT's network can cope, Virgin's cannot.

Also ignore that 3rd June date.

Nothing is going to happen except a reschedule.

You'll get given a November/ December date I bet.

Re: 4 months of ping spikes, NOT solved...

That’s why the date is an estimated fix date.
