What are you using to test your speed?

Can you check here:

Unifiy security gateway built in speed test and https://www.broadbandspeedchecker.co.uk/

I only get 170Mbps on that site and I'm on Gig1!

Please check the above site I posted.

Apologies for the slow reply, finally got access to the router and reset and upgraded to 500mb.

Still not 500 speeds but better...

Thanks for coming back to us minichris, I have looked into this on our systems and cannot see any issues with your connection or in the local area. how has your connection been running since you last posted?

Kind Regards,

Averaging 430-450mbps on a 700mbps WiFi connection.

Laptop doesn't have a LAN port so can't get a true 1gb link test.

Seems close enough

That is about the best speed you will get on wifi on your wifi5 VM Hub - for various reasons.

See this...

Wired is the real test. Get an adapter for the port your Laptop does have to a RJ45 ethernet cable connector. I have them for all my Macs - USB3, USBc, Thunderbird, Firewire - and all work perfectly.

See what that gets you

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.
