32 QAM Upload

I've not long joined Virgin Media however I've noticed that the upload modulation keeps dropping to 32 or 16 QAM. The upload speed seems okay, however it will randomly stall every so often and then come back. I've had a closer look at my wall connector and it looks a bit damaged. Could this be the cause of the issues with the upload?

My download speed is fine.

Router stats attached below. My download is fine. My upload doesn't look too bad, but I have just factory reset and rebooted the router.

Hi, antbates91.
Thank you for your post on our help forums and for joining the VM community.
A warm welcome, glad to have you on board! 🙂

We're sorry to hear of the issues faced and we'd love to help where needed, apologies for the delay in our reply too.

We checked and haven't found any issues on the network or equipment currently, from the picture you've posted above there doesn't seem to be any visible damage at your wall socket connections that could impact the service and the BQM graph above looks fine. 🙂

Is the connection we see in the image in use for the broadband or TV?

Could you kindly let us know if the issue is still present since your post last week?
Let us know and we'll be eager to assist.
