30mb download speed - paying for 200mbs

I’ve recently “upgraded” to 200mbs. In the last 24 hours the speed hasn’t got over 30mbs with it sometimes going as low as 11mbs. It’s really frustrating!

i have the hub with wifi off and use a mesh system running off that. I have done speed tests both wirelessly and from Ethernet straight out of the Virgin hub. No use. I’ve switch off and back on again, no change.

What speeds do you get at >> << with a direct connection using a Cat 5E or better ethernet cable between the Hub in Router Mode and a 1Gbs capable Pc/Mac/Chromebook and no other devices connected ?

Then immediately after …

Can you Login to the Hub Settings and navigate to the Connected Devices page - what is the reported 'connection speed’ for the ethernet cable connected device you used for the speed test ?
