20mbps instead of 200. Not minimum guaranteed

Our speeds have not been above 20 for a few weeks now.

Just had a new Hub 3 delivered and it made no difference. It's not the router or the hub.

Re: 20mbps instead of 200. Not minimum guaranteed

What speeds do you get at >> speedtest.net << with a direct connection using a Cat 5E or better ethernet cable between the Hub in Router Mode and a 1Gbs capable Pc/Mac/Chromebook and no other devices connected ?

Then immediately after …

Can you Login to the Hub Settings and navigate to the Connected Devices page - what is the reported 'connection speed’ for the ethernet cable connected device you used for the speed test ?

BQM

Download connection speeds are 10 Mbps at the moment. Upload about the same.

Re: 20mbps instead of 200. Not minimum guaranteed

Well... interestingly a ethernet connection to the router (hub is modem only) shows 200Mbps!

I can't see what the connected device speed is.

Is it maybe the QoS?

Re: 20mbps instead of 200. Not minimum guaranteed

So are you saying that an ethernet connection speed is OK but Wi-Fi is bad ?

Yes. Turned off QoS and traffic monitor but no change so far.

You need to look at your router !!

Is the Router in DHCP mode ?

You have to switch to router mode temporarily in order to get the connected devices option in the Hub3 menu
