So unpacked my new Hub4 two days ago, got it up and running and clearly something was wrong got less then 500mbps dl, a technician came out today did some adjustments on the incoming signal to the Hub and left and now when doing measurments directly on the ethernet ports with both speedtest and Sam knows how it is 500 mbps dl. Calling tech support and they transfer me to some other tech department and so on. Incoming signal to the router seems fine with 1085mbps. What else to do?
Completely agree. I much preferred it when NTL provided a small cable modem and the user provided their own router. I know you can run the Hub 3 in modem only mode but it’s still massive. I also miss the flashing data LED.
It all runs on cat7 cables which was tested on the earlier hub3mand wifi 6 router i got connected normally. With everything dissconected from the Hub 4 is when i got the test results earlier and its both on wlan and ethernet. I got in contact with the technician who came here yesterday and hopefully he can try to figure something out or replace the Hub4. I had better speed on the Hub3 with a 600 plan 😞
