1GB Upgrade - Not Much Speed Upgrade

Below is the configuration in my Hub 5 which i received today and plugged in. Set into modem mode. Ran couple of speed tests

You should post your downstream logs again, this time as text, the screen shot unreadable

To be honest all hub readinsg should be posted as text. The  network logs have been rejected as they contain your MAC address. Again they should posted as text - the forum system will remove the MAC address if posted as text.

Hi anaschillin, 

Thanks for coming back to us on this one. 

We're sorry to hear you're having an issue with your connection. Checking things this end, the hub is looking great. All power and signal levels are within range and there are no open faults in your area. 

I can see you have Modem mode on so am assuming you're using a third party router. Please disconnect this and instead plug the ethernet cable in to the Hub and PC/Laptop directly. Reboot the hub and check the speed then. 

Are you seeing any difference? You'll need to ensure the ethernet is a cat 6 minimum and that your PC/Laptop is also capable of running 1GB speed.

Check the hubs Max Traffic Rate in Operation Configuration

test modem mode without a router connect PC to hub power off hub for 2mins then back on unplug replug Ethernet to get internet then test speed.

Right it turns out, its Asus Router. AI protection features limits speeds. - So best to turn that off. Still tweaking the settings for optimum speeds. Manged to get about 800Mbps peaking to 850 to 900 Mbps
