1 Gbit DL reduced to 500 Mbit

Since the recent upgrade to 100 Mbit upload speed my 1 Gbit download seems to have been reduced to 500 Mbit.

All the automated checks say there is no issue, but I think the wrong package has been applied to my account.

Tried calling but can't get through the auto menus to actually speak to someone, keep getting cut off as you run the automated tests which says there are no issues.

If you logon to your hub you should be able to see what speed you are on, it’s one of the tabs. 1G requires a Hub4 or 5.

How to get stats from a VM hub (no need to logon to the hub)

Open a web browser and go to 192.168.0.1 router mode or 192.168.100.1 modem mode

  • Click on the “> Check router status” button
  • Click on the “Downstream” tab, copy the text and paste into your reply, do not take a screen shot
  • Click on the “Upstream” tab, copy the text and paste into your reply
  • Click on the “Networking” tab, copy the text and paste into your reply.
    • Do NOT post photos or screen shots they will be rejected as they contain MAC addresses. The board software will automatically change MAC addresses to **:** if done as above.
