websafe access

Virgin media webpage: https://my.virginmedia.com/my-apps/onlinesecurity/toolkit

Does anyone know as to whether the Web Safe [Manage Web Safe Settings] button at he above has been deactivated? I ask, as whenever I click on it instead of transferring to:

https://my.virginmedia.com/my-apps/onlinesecurity/websafe/settings

I get redirected back to: https://my.virginmedia.com/my-apps/onlinesecurity/toolkit

Re: websafe access

it's not an uncommon problem (i get the same).

you'll have to sit tight for VM to comment (usually a couple of days). as far as I know there's no action that you can take that will resolve.. (honestly, I'm not sure I've seen any action from VM staff that can resolve either, but they're better placed to help at least..)

Re: websafe access

@sophist The poster has reposted here https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Security-matters/Web-safe/td-p/4509716/jump-to/first-unread-mes... and it has been picked up by the VM staff.

From what I have picked up this seems to be an account level specific issue, but exactly how the link works for some accounts but not others, I have no Idea.

given the frequency of this one, coupled with the "backend-only fix", it could probably use a sticky... 🙂

Re: websafe access

All sorted by VM they had to do something on their side.  Sounds like a bug in their software
