virgin hub 3.0

virgin changed our super hub for a hub 3.0 but if i want to restrict access to a number of devices in ip port filtering you have to choose all or single or range under range it only allows for 2 devices to have restrictions in my opinion this is worse than the super hub which they replaced

Re: virgin hub 3.0

All ISP hubs vary, but in the interests of simplicity, low manufacturing cost and more so, low support costs, all are pretty rudimentary and offer limited controls.  If you need more control than the Hub 3 offers, your best option would be to buy your own router or mesh wifi system and put the Hub 3 in modem mode, making sure that whatever you choose offers the degree of control you need.
