hi just revived automated phone call saying broadband will be cut off in 4 hours order new broadband hub i put phone down as i have just got new broadband hub 1 month ago is this a scam

Just had the same call off 01812392311 wife passed the phone to me, person said I needed to log in wirelessly and they would fix an issue with my network. I told him I would ring Virgin to verify the call and he hung up.
Sorry to hear that paddymac007 and aldavidson but yes that is a scam call, we would never call any of our customers to say that.
Was this on mobile or landline phone?
