Hi pasty239, can you confirm how you have gone about deleting this in the past? Have you contacted us to do so? ^Chris

I looked around on the web site to find a way to do it more than once but never found anything useful

Re: how to delete permanently compromised email address

Hey pasty239,

The email address can be permanently deleted at this end which I am more than happy to sort for you.

Can you first please confirm if the mailbox is linked to an active or former Virgin Media subscription with us?

Thanks,

Beth

Re: how to delete permanently compromised email address

I think the email address in question stretches back to when I had a Virgin dial up account so it goes back to perhaps 20 years . the one problem account was compromised in the early days before any safe surfing advice was freely available and Virgin allowed incoming messages but blocked outgoing ones . This is OK for the other 4 email addresses of virgin.net .

However only one of these is useful at present and would be useful.  I use hotmail and gmail for outgoing messages
