Virgin not telling the truth?

I am concerned that I had an engineer booked to visit two days ago, but the visit was a no-show. No-one contacted me about it.

Yesterday, I contacted Virgin by text: no reply. I tried again today and was eventually told that I had cancelled the visit using IVR (interactive voice response). This is untrue. I have had no verbal contact with Virgin since arranging the visit. Is this a case of Virgin lying to me, or should I be concerned about the security of my account?

Welcome to the forums and thank you for taking the time to post. 

 

I have just had a quick look into the account and can see that there was contact with the IVR regarding the appointment that has been the result in the cancelation of the appointment. 

 

If you do need me to re-book the engineer visit I can do.
