Hi,

On 7th November a Virgin Media van which was working on next doors property reversed into my parked car.

I spoke to the driver at the time and text messages since who assured me that he has logged details at his end and someone would be in touch.

No one has contacted me regarding this after 3 weeks.

I have the drivers details, reg number and employee number along with photos of the damage.

please advise.

Pass everything to your insurance company, even if it was not your fault they need to be advised. You should not contact VM it’s up to your insurance company and if not done the correct way can affect the payment. In any case VM insurance are very unlikely to pay you directly, they will insist going through your insurance company.

Hi Maxmart,

Thank you for reaching out, as advised by Tudor, as long as you have all the required information, your insurance company will deal with this and send Virgin the bill if liable.

Regards

Paul.

Hi Paul,

I'm not willing to involve my insurance company and have my premiums go up through no fault of my own.

please contact or DM asap.

Thank you for coming back to us Maxmart 🙏.

Sorry to see this has happened to yourself. However Your premiums won't go up if you are not at fault.

You will have to raise this with your insurance company which then will get in contact with us.

Let us know how you get on.

You have to report it to your insurance company regardless, else your policy could be invalidated.
