I had similar issues with my Amazon account last weekend and each time I reset the password via the forgot password section further attempts were made until similarly the email address was changed to a Russian one. The result of this was the freezing of my Amazon account and cancellation of my debit card. These successful attempts were carried out at 2 a.m. when no-one would be monitoring. I have removed the ntlworld email address from Amazon and all is now improved.
Yep , exactly what I had. Amazon have completely locked my account, I need to call them to get it unlocked. I have changed my Virgin password and currently no further dodgy activity on any other accounts.
