VM account locked suspicious activity

Last week I was unable to receive emails. Weirdly I could receive them on my original iPad but not the new one although at first they were being received on both.

I rang  Virgin who investigated and  corrected  the issue only for me to find a few minutes later they were not being received again! At this time I changed my password.

I have now had a letter from Virgin stating that my account has been locked due to security systems detecting suspicious activity.

However, I am still able to receive emails on my original iPad!
I am advised to run anti-virus scans - how do I do this?

I am at a total loss as to what to do. Any help would be appreciated, ease.

Thanks.

Re: VM account locked suspicious activity

Follow all  the advice in this virgin media help page:

While apple products are less likely to get malware, I'm there are ways to scan them, or at least do a factory reset.  If you have any further questions, please let us know!  Best wishes to you.
