Twitter account scamming users

Hi,

The Twitter account @virgneimedia is scamming people left, right and centre. Some people are already out of pocket.

They tried scamming me but I sent them fake details.

Can't Virgin Media do anything?

Re: Twitter account scamming users

They may be able to escalate the issue to Twitter, but you could also use the more immediate options available within your Twitter account to report the fake account.

Re: Twitter account scamming users

Hi,

Awesome, thanks. I've now been sent a text message from 07507328010 to confirm more details. Is this a legit number?

Thanks

RG
