Setting Guest Network to 2.4ghz

I have just set up the new Hub4 and encountered a problem. I have one device in my house that will only work with 2.4ghz rather than 5ghz. So i've created a guest network thinking i'd be able to disable 5ghz from that and use the device through the guest network. Problem is it seems you cannot disable for guest network only. I know you can with other providers, am i missing something?

Re: Setting Guest Network to 2.4ghz

Hi @TomRad85, thanks for posting.

I am sorry to hear you're having issues splitting your frequency, to enable a connection to your WiFi.  Does the steps shown here not help at all?

Regards

Re: Setting Guest Network to 2.4ghz

You can split up the 2.4ghz and 5ghz into different names https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Networking-and-WiFi/Hub-4-split-wifi-2-4ghz-and-5ghz/m-p/428067... so don't need to worry about using the guest network
