Security & Password

Hi! I’m getting ‘Weak Security’ message on iOS when connected to Wi-Fi, I’ve attempted to change the factory password by posting in the 192.168.0.1 address in a browser window (although not connected thru’ Ethernet cable but wirelessly on iPad) -

when I enter the factory password it says it’s incorrect? Tried multiple times - so it’s the right password from the router and it has never been reset in the past.

any ideas?  Thanks!

Hi SJ54,

you need to enter the Settings password, which is 8 numerical characters printed on the base of the hub, NOT the wifi password.
