Have received what clearly appears to be a scam text:
"Dear VirginMedia Customer, your last bill payment was unsuccessful and we have added a hold. Please update your info via [link]."
Text apparently sent from 07312 367141.
It may be coincidence. But I'm a bit concerned that this is the first scam text I've received purporting to be from VM and I've received it less than 2 months after joining VM.
Don't worry, these sorts of text's and also emails are received now and again. the odd grammar "and we have added a hold" should be a clue. Just continue to be suspicious and never follow the link.
