Scam phone call

Just had a call from removed claiming to be from virginmedia.  Offering a 30% discount to me as an existing customer (I wish!). Once they started asking for personal details I guessed it was a scam (I only gave them my name) Just to let others know.

Sorry to hear about this and thank you for remaining vigilant, we would not ask you for any personal information to place a discount on the account and we will be sure to keep an eye out for any more scams as such.
