Scam call

Received call from [REMOVED] stating they are from Virgin media regarding problem with service. I replied I will phone direct. Do Virgin call from local numbers?

Miscreant attempting tech support scam; Virgin Media will not call you to advise of technical issues.

BTW consider not posting the Caller ID number as it is: (a) likely spoofed; (b) belongs to innocent individual / organisation;
