Received a text from the virginmobile number saying that we were unable to validate your billing information.  please confirm your current info to avoid your line being suspended:


I pay by direct debit and payment came out successfully - is anyone else had this scam text?

Sorry to see you've received this scam message, we'd advise it does not seem legit at all from what you've explained above.

Also, allow us to confirm we'd never request our customers to confirm any billing details over a link or suspend an account before any missed payments/overdue bills occur.
Please, visit this link here for more advice on what to do in this case as well which may prove quite useful.

If uncertain, you can always visit your online account with us to check your bills and balance status and ensure you have an active Direct Debit.
You may as well call our team at 0345 454 1111 to report this scam text or ask for more info - we're able to view and tell if this was genuinely from VM.
